KKYO was not built in a boardroom. It was built in the community, by someone who showed up before the grants, before the programs, and before the cameras. Our founder saw the need firsthand during field placements in Gary, Indiana, and through years of community work in the Chicagoland area. We started by showing up with clothing, toys, and resources for families who had nothing. That is still who we are.
